Expect More Magical Moments
P&O Ferries and Disneyland® Paris partnered to target british family holiday breaks to France. We identified that young mums spend large amounts of time online and specifically on blogging sites such as mumsnet. The mummy bloggers are tech savvy and are proactively engaged in offers and competitions. We wanted to tap into the emotional heart strings that prompt people to make the journey to Disneyland Paris®. The My Magical Family facebook app was born, it invited parents to share their family’s magical moments with the world, by doing so they were entered to win a family holiday of a life time. The facebook app was seeded online with banners, “authentic” blog posts from key mummy bloggers, a youtube video and DM.
The competition ran for 4 weeks and attracted over 400 entires, 24,000 facebook likes and 31,000 impressions.
